I’m old, I have white hair and I’m a woman. Someone, somewhere might be interested in what I have to say!
I have lived in the UK since I was 15, when my mother took a job as an architect with the US Navy. She designed buildings, not ships. By the time I was 18, I realised that I was ‘home’ – the UK feels much more like the place I belong. That’s more true today than at any other time in the nearly 67 years I’ve been here.
